About me
Alison Flango, PharmD, CDCES is the Assistant Director for the Non-Traditional Ambulatory Pharmacy Programs at Geisinger. These programs include Senior Focus care models as well as Pain and Behavioral health programs for the Medication Therapy Disease Management team. Alison has been an ambulatory pharmacist for 15 years and has been involved with building new programs within the ambulatory space at Geisinger since 2018. She graduated from the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia in 2005 and worked in the retail setting before finding her true passion in AmCare with Geisinger in 2010. Her interests include medication reconciliation, diabetes management, anticoagulation, controlled substance prescribing and geriatric care. Within her current role, her team includes 23 pharmacists and 4 Certified Pharmacy Technicians within 28 Geisinger sites.
